Four Seasons of the Arts is a nonprofit organization dedicated to enriching our community through live music and seasonal performances.
Founded with a passion for making the arts accessible, the organization hosts four signature events each year—one in every season—featuring orchestral concerts, community collaborations, and special performances.
From candlelit winter concerts inside historic churches to patriotic summer celebrations and student-focused fall performances, each event is designed to inspire, connect, and bring people together through the power of music.
The Four Seasons Concert Series
Each season offers a unique musical experience, blending professional performances with local tradition and community spirit.
Spring
Experience an unforgettable spring evening with the Mississippi Symphony Orchestra at the Vicksburg National Military Park Visitor Center. This free concert begins at 7:00 pm on May 23, 2026.
Summer
A celebration of country, community, and music. This lively event features patriotic favorites and often includes collaborations with local choirs, bringing audiences together for a powerful and uplifting performance.
Fall
A meaningful program designed to introduce young people to the arts. This event welcomes students from across the region to experience live orchestral music, often for the first time, fostering the next generation’s love for the arts.
Winter
An intimate and moving experience featuring the Mississippi Symphony Orchestra in a candlelit setting. Held in a historic church, this concert creates a warm and reflective atmosphere filled with timeless music.
